Clients can be picked up from any Dar es Salaam city hotel.
USD 210 (Low Season) and USD 330 (High Season) will be charged per person for single rooms (Single room Supplement) if guests do not want to share rooms and on 3 & 5 pax rates. There is no single room supplement applied for 1 pax rate.

Ruaha National Park and Mikumi National Park (Inside Park) Budget - 6 Days
Ruaha National Park
The park covers 12,950 square kilometers with a big area of dry savanna. It is home to more than 10,000 elephants. The forest contains Miombo woodlands, Acacia woodlands, Riverine forests and Terminalia scrub. Ruaha and Rungwa areas are home to 450 bird’s species.
Ruaha National Park is home to vast number of animal such as elephants, leopard buffalos, lions and cheetahs, crocodiles, turtles, hippos inhabit the Ruaha River, sables and roan antelopes and wild dogs. Animals that live in the grasslands are grant's gazelles and the tiny dik-diks.
The road from Dar es Salaam to Iringa Town is tarmac. However, the roads to and inside the park are not good because they require a 4-wheel drive. It is 10 hours away from Dar es Salaam.
Mikumi National Park
Mikumi National Park is one of the greatest parks in the world and the fourth largest park in Tanzania. It is situated approximately 300 km from Dar es salaam. Mikumi's rich wildlife contains lions, hippos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, wildebeest and many more incredible creatures.
A game drive is one of most popular activities in Mikumi National Park.
The park has an altitude of 548 metres above sea level and an area of 3230 square kilometres. Mikumi is bordered by TAZARA (Tanzania Zambia) railway line in the south along with Selous Game Reserve.
Day 1: Dar es Salaam - Iringa
- Pick up from DSM city center hotel or residence
- Proceed to Iringa .
- Overnight at Wilolesi Lodge.
Day 2: Game Drive in Ruaha National Park
- After early breakfast, depart to Ruaha National Park for Game drive with picnic lunch.
- Dinner and overnight at the Ruaha River Lodge (B,L,D).
Day 3: Game Drive in Ruaha National Park
-After breakfast, Game drive in Ruaha National Park with picnic lunch.
-Dinner and overnight at the Ruaha River Lodge (B,L,D).
Day 4: Drive from Ruaha - Mikumi National Park
-After breakfast, drive from Ruaha to Mikumi National Park with picnic lunch.

Day 5: Game Drive in Mikumi National Park

Day 6: Mikumi - Dar
-After breakfast, morning game drive in Mikumi National Park.

Participant guidelines
Clients should bring light clothes due to the heat and also hats, sunglasses and sunscreen lotion. Since its cool in Iringa/ Ruaha in the evenings, a sweeter would be handy.
