USD 80 (High Season) and USD 50 (Low Season) will be charged per person for single rooms (Single room Supplement) if guests do not want to share rooms. NO single room supplement applied for 1 pax rate.

Mikumi National Park
Mikumi is located just under 300kms from Dar es Salaam and is a great park to visit for a 1 night excursion. Mikumi is rich in wildlife and contains buffalo, elephant and lion. Also found are wildebeest, zebra, impala, warthog, hippo, and giraffe. Most of the animals can be seen in all seasons. Elephants can be seen throughout the area, and buffaloes, totalling some 3,000, are to be found on the treeless grassland.
The Mkate River Floor Plain with its hard ridges, swamps and black clay grassland, the miombo woodlands lie on hills of east and west, and the rivers with their fringe of tall trees and dense thickets. The TAZARA (Tanzania-Zambia) railway line marks the boundary of Mikumi with Selous to the south. The park has an area of 3,230 Sq. km and is situated at an altitude of 548 metres above sea level.
Day 1
- You will be picked up from your city hotel at 08:30 and depart for Mikumi.
- Lunch at Vuma Hill Tented Camp.
- At 14:30 hrs you will enjoy an afternoon game drive in Mikumi National Park, which is rich
in wildlife and contains buffalo, elephant and lion. Also found are zebra, impala, warthog, hippo and giraffe.
- Dinner and overnight at Vuma Hill Tented Camp which is set in a spacious hillside of Mikumi National Park, just a mere 4 hours drive from Dar es Salaam. Overlooking the Mkate plains and surrounding mountains, it is an excellent place to get away from the city and into the bush, each tent is designed to give you privacy and comfort of your desire with private bathrooms and hot water showers inside each tent and custom made furniture. Wild animals can be seen around the Camp grounds.
Day 2
- 08:00 After breakfast, morning game drive in Mikumi National Park.
- 12:30 Lunch at Vuma Hill Tented Camp.
- 13:30 Depart for Dar es Salaam, arriving in the evening and dropped off at your city hotel.
